Peter Love Educational Consulting, LLC is the private practice of Dr. Peter Love. Dr. Love is an Educational Psychologist with over forty years experience in the human services field.

Dr. Love has worked in a variety of areas including state services, the private non-profit sector, higher education, and in various business operations. Because of his range of professional experiences, Dr. Love is able to bring a holistic awareness of the differing perspectives and needs of the people and agencies that have an impact on the lives of the people he supports.

Dr. Love conducts his work with an emphasis on the principles of person-centered planning. At the same time, he recognizes the need for an ecological approach that understands that no person's life is lived in isolation from others.  


Philosophy

Dr. Love believes that the most important thing that he can do to support people is to help people understand their authentic strengths and needs so they can develop the most effective strategies to show their strengths and to meet their needs. Dr. Love also believes that it is essential to offer interventions and supports that represent the best match to the daily lives of the people he supports. Because of this desire to present the best possible match of interventions to his clients' needs he draws on a wide range of techniques and approaches to help people reach their full potential.
